At a gala event held at the Vintner’s Hall in London, Celia Gaze, managing director of The Wellbeing Farm Cookery School was delighted to accept the award for ‘best use of local produce’ at the 2013 British Cookery School Awards.
The Wellbeing Farm Cookery School in Edgworth, near Bolton specialises in offers a wide range of courses and specialises in provenance and sustainability. With a real passion for teaching budding cooks from pre-school to adults, all ingredients are sourced from the land, from local farmers or from the local award-winning butcher, which co-owns the farm. All students are taught in a custom-designed cooking space that includes top of the range appliances from De Dietrich.

A VIP event was held by Cornflake, a leading supplier of premium home automation systems to launch the Smart App-artment – its new experiential retail showroom in central London. The open plan living area incorporates a stunning kitchen with in the De Dietrich Grey Pearl and White Pearl ranges, and the most advanced zoneless induction hob on the market, the Piano. Everything in the Smart App-artment is accessed and controlled by touch, and to complement the Piano the kitchen includes Intelligent Control System Ovens (ICS) with matching ICS Dishwasher, pyrolytic ovens, compact ovens and downdraft extractor.

Celebrating the achievements of the Independent and Multiple Electrical Retail sector together with manufacturers of Domestic Appliances and Consumer Electronics, the 4th annual ERT Awards were held at Commonwealth Club in Central London on 7th November 2011.
For the first time, a new Product Innovation category was added to the list of awards, which was both nominated by and voted for by the editorial team at ERT. The De Dietrich DTiM1000C Piano 'Zoneless' Induction Hob was the winner of this inaugural award, and was the only product from a major domestic appliance brand to be nominated.
