Subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter, your “appliance” is automatically covered by “Warranty” for 12 months from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”). We will repair any defect that arises due to faulty materials or workmanship free of charge during this Warranty Period provided that the parts are fitted by an authorized De Dietrich/Fagor engineer.
If during the Warranty Period, the appliance becomes irreparable, we will exchange the defective product with a replacement appliance at our sole costs. The Warranty on the replacement product will continuously run from the original purchase date of the original product.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, should any person other than an authorised representative of De Dietrich/Fagor attempt a repair to your appliance, the Warranty will be invalid.
Any claims made under the terms of the Warranty must be supported by the original invoice or bill of sale issued at the time of purchase. In case the appliance was delivered to a newly constructed property, evidence must be provided of the date the appliance was commissioned.
Certain appliances may come with a promotional extended warranty offer subject to certain specific conditions (as per relevant promotional documentation), including but not limited to registration of the appliance concerned within 180 days from date of purchase.
Unless otherwise provided, promotional warranty offers are subject to the same terms and conditions as the Warranty.
This Warranty covers the appliance for normal domestic use only.
This Warranty applies to UK mainland, Channel Islands; The Warranty is not transferable between other EU Countries.
This Warranty is non-transferable to any other person or for any other product.
This Warranty is governed by English law unless otherwise agreed, and is in addition to and does not diminish your statutory or other legal rights.
This Warranty does not cover:
Whilst all reasonable care will be taken during service interventions, De Dietrich/Fagor does not accept liability for damage sustained to property other than as a result of its negligence in the process or moving or repairing the appliance.
In the course of the work carried out it may be necessary to remove the appliance from its operation position. If the appliance is glued, grouted or installed in such a way that it cannot be removed; it is the responsibility of the consumer to remove and re-install the appliance.
